I use the Hi torque tamiya unit. I don't usually feel the need for all the steering. one issue that the M03 has is the servo is not firmly mounted, so I put some shoe goo to hold the servo firmly remember the chassis seperates so be carfull where you put it.
The M03M suspension has ackerman holes to gain what you think you are loosing.
