That's the difference between me and someone else.

If it runs for 7 gals then I'll still run it. I never got more than 4 gallons if that from a Nova motor. I laugh when I hear people talk about rediculous gallons through a motor. Spending money on a new Piston, Sleeve and Rod for one of these motors is STUPID (read close IMHO). Unless your getting that stuff for dirt cheap. A P,S and R setup for any modern race motor is $150.00 on average. The average race motor is $300.00 why would you spend 50% of the cost of a new motor on a worn out one. I've done it before and they never run as good or last as long as a fresh motor.

I'm seriously contemplating buying a new one right now to put in my 8ight as the old V-spec is running perfect so I have a reliable backup in case of catastrophic failure
