I agree with Impact, the Schumacher ball cups and ball stud are about the best you are gonna get. I have had HPI, RPM, AE, and Losi ball cups pop off on me. I have never had a single Schumacher ball cups pop off. Maybe it is because they are harder than heck to pop onto the ball stud. 
No kidding, I have thumbs of steel now after diassembling/reassembling my mission a few times. Holy cow those things take some force to get on and off.
In one crash, I hit hard enough split the lower front A-arm off the hinge pin, but all the ball cups were still securely fastened everywhere.
