Swapping the F/R springs is probably a bit extreme. All other things equal, you may end up with oversteer. But that's not a bad thing on carpet. It's an easy swap, though!
If you're running foams on carpet, I would think you'd be traction rolling with a suspension that soft! What is your ride height?
