JLMG1971, I've just finished building it last night. You have a great car. For tapping, I've used a screw that came in a tool bag, I think instruction will tell you to use it.
My shock collar(black plastic) was bit too tight so I am getting a aluminum ones. Other than that, it was easy and I've build it in no time.
