Cain, under full droop there is plenty of pin inside the outdrive. The new universals are the same as the front just a little bit longer, thats all. You can run a long captured ball end on the shock and inside on the arm and it still will not eject or chew up the outdrive. There is no reason to run the long ballend, just making a point.
