Default Novarossi Plus

This is a comparison of the Novarossi plus 12 3CT with another engine Uriah Murnan did in 3hobby, is not DSII but it give you a very good idea of what the Novarossi is compare to other engines.

"Hi. Between the 2 engines (STI) and (+3). Both are great engines, but very different. The STI will produce most of it's power higher in the RPM range between say 30-40 K. The +3 will produce it's max power somewhere around 20-35 K. My team and I have used both engines with success, and the preference between the 2 engines lies with the driver. If you want instant torque that can require a smooth throttle finger the +3 is for you. If you prefer to grip it and rip it the Sirio may help smooth out the throttle responce, due to the fact that the STI comes on smoother than the +3. Both are fuel hungry. The STI will be happier to rev higher than the +3. If you are racing on a short track, the +3 is perfect (If traction is high enough to lay down the power.) The STI will be happier revving on a very large track. Not to say the Sirio is no good for a small track, or the +3 no good on a large track. They are just 2 very different engines that produce very different powerbands. I have found that the Novarossi 2630 Exhaust works extremely well with both engines. I will have both of these engines at my disposal for a given race. I have not had any of the modified STI crankshafts break, I am using the IFMAR crankshaft. Hope this helps."
