The same for me... my second STi is from another batch with lesser pinch and makes extrely easy to break-in them (they need around 1 litre to be broken-in).
They hold the compression great (those ones with less pinch). I've passed around 10 litres of fuel to my original STi and finally that s*cker has finished their break-in, time to tear the track, was really quick, but now is the same with less temp.
Planning to change the main bearing at least. After the nightmare of the past 10 litres they look fine, but main bearing is cheap and I get an extra of security for not blowing it.
