Sometimes we go to practice to a track that almost all the turns are to the left and we need to put a higher shore rating ont the front right side (40 left and 42 right) and put a little more camber (maybe 0.5 or 1 degree more) on the right wheels to cope with the brutal grip and turns we have on these track.
People that come new to those track and isn't warned about this realize that the front right tyre wears a lot more than the front left and realize this when tyre is ruined and coned.
I agree. I run maybe 2-3deg camber difference on the front and 1-1.5deg difference on the rear. A lot of people think that for the car to run fast the camber and tires shore has to be equal on both sides. It might be more beneficial over shorter qualifier runs but not over a 30min/1hr final were you cant change the tires over to easy.
