I suggest you get in touch with Tyree or Charlie at Novak.
I have always found them both very helpful and understanding.
I too use nothing but Novak.
Have you tried re-programming that GT7 from scratch? Charlie explained to me some time ago that the GT7 has something in it's innerds that cuts off all power to the motor if it senses any malfunction. It could be something like that but Charlie is the man to ask.
