Hobby shops don't have the parts that you are looking for because you don't buy the parts from them. If the shops know that there is a demand for the parts, generally they start to stock the parts. It doesn't make them any money if they stock parts that people don't need. It doesn't make them any money if they fail to stock the parts in demand. Buy local and they will be more likely to stock the parts you are looking for. TC3 parts are still available through distributers.
