This is turning into a Lipo / NiMh thread now... but my .02:
If ROAR / IFMAR go the 4 cell route, the only hope of saving electrics will be lipo. Everyplace I go, I see folks with Lipos. Many just for testing purposes. But if there were a lipo class, I'm sure it would blow away the nimh classes, in terms of number of racers.
Lipo is here. We might as well embrace it. turning away from it will kill the sport.
