Not at all. It's a carbon fiber plate... very stiff. And a PITA to make. There is also a mount at the rear of the motor that connects to the carbon fiber rear chassis brace. The motor is mounted so solid that it makes a nice handle for picking up the buggy.

I have put several different motors in this buggy and haven't had any issues with it. I would like to make the mount a little sexier but that's the way it is.

Right now I have a different motor in it and no cooling fans, so it looks a little cleaner.

That Hacker motor in the pic flat out hauls..... it's too much for most speedos. It runs +50mph and gets there quick. I'm waiting for the Mamba Monster to run that motor again.
