it is not in sportsman mode.we run 5800 motors with the 19 turn cars at our local track with some very fast people.every weekend is like a national event.therefor we all have some very sick 19's.oval may be different due to the gearing you guys run.we would thermal in about 1 minute due to the constant stop and go driving.the 5800 may be a nasty motor with oval gearing.in onroad or offroad conditions,it will get humped in the mod class.i fight to keep up with paul wynn down the straight away with my 4.5 in mod.if i ran the 5800 i would get punted.
