I thought the following was true
Going bigger/more teeth on pinion - improves top speed (taller)
Going smaller/less teeth on pinion - improves acceleration (shorter)
Going bigger/more teeth on spur - improves acceleration (shorter)
Going smaller/less teeth on spur - improves top speed (taller)
So wouldnt going from a 15t pinion to a 16t pinion increase acceleration and decrease top speed?
Also, does anyone know roughly how many spur gear teeth = 1 tooth on a pinion gear? I guess I could do the math...
