The Pulsar and Pulsar 2 are great reliable chargers, I have a Pulsar and I love it. The 10A discharge isnt perfect but take the cells to 0.9v on the tray and theyd be good. As for ESC, have a look at going brushless, every 2wd driver here has it and it looks good enough for me to want it.
