I haven't had any more problems with gear life on the MTX-4 than I did with the V-ONE RRR. Of course they're always those times when I forgot to tighten the motor screws. My only complaint is that the pitch is a little off. The new gears from the V-ONE RRR EVO are the corrct pitch for .8 pinions, but sadly they don't fit.
