They are all better for some conditions than others. Why is this a debate?

There just seems something inherently wrong with the *idea* of a spool - when a car turns, the left and right wheel *need* to roll different amounts. Simple physics. We put stupid amounts of strain on the drivetrain by running spools.

Having said that, I tend to personally like the spool because it's easier to drive for my over enthusiastic (read : heavy handed) style of steering input. I think it penalises me speed-wise quite considerably in stock class.

Most fast stock guys seem to run oneways at most tracks, as far as I can work out. Less resistance, more corner speed (but no front brakes). You seem to need to drive with some finesse to make a oneway work, specially if your car isn't set up well.

All generalisations of course...
