Coons, anything is possible, and from my experience with the Tekin ESC's I've used as of late that I must use the SPM1600 Voltage Protector because the BEC output is on the low side. Using a digital servo "may" have amplified the low BEC issue as well. I would suggest using the actual Voltage Protector with your ESC.
