Not only the fact that there may be things they don't want people to see yet, the car is still in complete prototype phase and could change drastically. They may not want people to see a prototype and expect one thing and get something different when production rolls around. Losi didn't let anyone see the JRXS prototype until they were really close to the finished basic design.
