I'm using the cubic in my 1/12 scale car. I'm pretty happy with it overall, especially the nice linear feel. I too wonder if it might have a slight lack of punch though...
I'm thinking of trying a Novak GT7 sometime soon for comparison. If I do I'll post any differences I can notice.
