I am no expert but it sounds as if your clutch is engaging too soon, or is dragging. Set your idle so that you have a 1mm or so gap with the brakes compressed so that the brakes will not kill the engine. Now tighten your clutch spring a little bit and see if that helps. You car should idle without spinning the wheels. you may have to readjust your clutch a few times to get it right.
