Mr Safer has some 1/10th replicas of said bridgestone tyres for mini. Hence the confusion.
From my long faded memory of racing mini at Boronia around 5 years ago I seem to recall HPI X-patterns to be the tyre of choice - not sure if this is still the case. The 60D's will give you a slightly larger rollout though, so if they hook up they might be the tyre of choice now.
The rules (
http://vortec.iwarp.com/about.html) say "Small size Mini wheels only with any commercially available rubber mini-sized tyres". So you're not restricted to box tyres or tamiya slicks. You can run Ride, Shumizu, or whatever takes your fancy, as long as they're mini sized (not touring car) and rubber.
