I've got a 16x5 and I'm happy with the job it's doing, but one thing bothers me. The 16x5 automatically goes into a 150mah trickle charge once the battery peaks. I've been hearing that it's not a good idea to trickle a pack, jsut peak it, and repeak right before the run.
I'd sure like to disable the trickle on the 16x5, but there's no option for it. I called Integy to ask, they told me to just unplug the pack right after it peaks if I don't want it to trickle. That would be fine, but sometimes I'm marshaling when a pack finishes, I might be on the driver's stand running another class, etc. I don't like the idea of being chained to the charger. I hope they'll come up with a software update or something to address this, cause other than this one issue I REALLY like this charger.
