NOBODY that knows what they are doing cycles packs anymore. Today batteries have finite life spans. Every cycle you put on your packs in testing is one fewer run you will get out of them on the track.
10A keeps the pack heat down and will tell you a perfectly valid number showing what your battery has left in it.
The best way to gauge battery status is how many Mah go into the battery during charge. New IB3800 take 4200+, IB4200 take 4400+. If you are a deadly serious racer replace the batteries when you see a 15% reduction in input capacity. If you run Mod and have a pack that is down 15% you will fade badly or dump before 5 min are up. It not as big a deal in stock ot 19T unless you are racing at the national level.
