Are you using the stock BD universals up front? If so, the first thing you want to do is replace the pin that connects the the bone to the axle. The stock pin is too short and will come loose and break during a run. The pins used by the Barricuda work great. I haven't had a problem since buying those. Speedtechrc.com carrys them. Some people use piano wire too. I just don't remember the size. When that pin starts to come loose it can cause vibration too. Sometimes it's hard to get a universal not to bind. I've had universals be very smooth until the grub screw was tightened. I really struggled with it. I wish I had a fix for you. Mine worked okay from the start but I just bought the TiR universals which work even better.
