Actually AE and Delta had versions of multiflex chassiss before the T-bar cars came out, when they used to run the keyhole cutout chassis. And there was a overseas car called a ABC that had full suspension 12th scale that used a version of multiflex chassis tuning. Of course it wasn't like the spline plate, or the X-ray version, but still was a way of adjusting and controlling how much flex the chassis would give. I even think Corrally used a way of controlling how much flex was allowed on the t-bar itself, by changing the pivot point. In any matter its been done before just not as refined. This was all back in the 70's and early 80's.
