So here’s my question, can you use an ESC (i.e. one of the extremely small ones from Great Planes used on electric aircraft and designed for LiPo’s) as a voltage regulator? They are much smaller and lighter than the dedicated voltage regulators plus the added advantage of incorporating low voltage cutoff. The specs on the ESC show BEC at 4.8 to 6.0 volts.
