I'm an electric fan, so I'll just say a couple of things:
1) My Mate has a Rex-X, and the thing goes ok, but it could use a high tourque servo in it for the steering as it tends to lock occasionally.
2) I prefer my electric brushless setup. It's been cheaper to set up (albeit it's all 2nd hand) and i don't have the temperature problem he does. Plus, My packs are all good and since i have heaps i can run it for longer, harder.
