If you want something your LHS can get easily try an Associated RC12L4. It is very simple and its just as fast as anything else. If you don't mind ordering on line the CRC T-Fource is really nice and it comes with all the hop ups out of the box.
Be sure to buy a couple of extra .063" t-bars, upper front arms and extra .020 front springs. If you are new to 1/12th and you crash from time to time those are the wear items.
