Has anybody ever killed a steel diff it was my rear diff i stuck it down it drifted fine for about 30 seconds then i couldnt kick the rear out i was like so i looked at the car and the rear diff wouldnt tighten up so i replaced it with my spare diff and it was fine all night i aint checked out the steel diff anybody else had that? Its not loose it just wont tighten

I had that problem with my front steel diff. I had to do a complete rebuild. Just buy the AE TC3 diff rebuild kit and you're good to go.
