Its been a long time since i've ran a brushed mod motor, been running the Novak 5.5 and 4.5 for quite some time. In very hot weather thermal shut down can become an issue, careful gearing is key, I guess it depends how hard you push the systems, overgearing is an easy mistake to make. Last few months i've been running the 4.5 Novak and all has been going fine, plenty of speed.

Zero attendance is one of the best benefits, normally a 5min run in mod results in 10-15mins work on the motor afterwards.
