Also I just ordered my new radio today. I got the Futaba 3PKS for a pretty good price too. With the Synth HRS setup. I wont be using it , but its good to have that and not worry about crystals.
Ill be putting the new spektrum pro on there once that comes out later this month.
Ill be retiring my 3PJS , which ive had since around 98. Never had one problem with that radio, but figured if there was a 3pk to try this was the one. Good enough price and I didnt have to get it from asia or something.
They got rid of that ugly wheel and put in a nice EDM style touring wheel. Very nice.
Upgrades over the original 3PK include;
Expanded Driver Menu, with "New Driver" "Race-Ready" and "Expert"
menus and a mid-level "Big" menu for drivers of 1/5 scale and
larger vehicles
Redesigned Keypad, with jog button giving access to four different
directions by moving button left, right, up or down and then
pushing in
Vibrating Alert System, functions like a timer to let driver know
when to bring a nitro car in for a pit stop or check battery life
of electric model
Increased Model Memory, 20 models also compatible with CAMPac module
that adds another 10 models
Throttle Mode Select, choice of two servo neutral points 70/30 for
nitro models and 50/50 model for electrics
It should be here tommorrow. Im not sure if im going to use my old spektrum on it or not. If so Ill be racing with it next month.
