uniquexme, Ur particular PS is listed as an UNREGULATED type. The CTX-C apparently can sense that "ripple" (AC that 'leaks' thru the PS, instead of the cleaner/Pure DC of regulated types) in the output. Ur voltage is probably fine but the Team Much More charger needs regulated and filtered power. (your car battery is as clean a DC as possible)
Switching PS's simply use transistors to produce the desired power. They work more effeciently but have a tendency to overheat.
