I think he said he was down to 2. Meaning he had narrowed his choice down to two different engines.
I would just fork out the extra and get the OS, it will be worth it in the long run as it will outlast the force engine. OS are very easy to tune and have a good reputation, I have not owned a force engine but the word seems to be pretty unanamous that they suck.
