I will offer this bit of imfo up.... If you can find a tc3 cheap then good because later (money permitting) you can get the BMI chassis/towers for it and it will be a very competitive car. Alot of racers still run this set-up and win. Aside from that, a xxx-s (non-graphite) roller can be had for cheap and they are great to drive, very consistant--- or better yet try to score a Mi2 (not the EC, the older one) for cheap and you will love it! I have the older one that I got a great deal on, eventually upgraded to full BMI chassis and TRF shocks and it rips! There are alternatives to the newest, megabuck cars- just do alittle research...
