Well if your clutch is locking up at a low rpm then it is not hitting the power band of the motor untill later. If the clutch slipped a little it would hit the power band of the motor quicker and then shift sooner. Try to let the new shoe slip a little more and the shift point should come back down to were you had it before. If you loosen up the black clutch shoe it would do the same thing.

If I am wrong you didn't hear this from me...
I ended up adjusting the clutch shoe to slip more but I also had to loosen up the black 2-speed clutch shoe. I got it back in the range where I could run my main. I still need to fine tune it.
