Thanks for the kind words everyone. They say the year of "firsts" is the hardest when you lose someone, (birthdays, christmas, etc.) I received my renewal notice from Car Action today and it had Grandma's name on it. That was the one gift she got me every year, talk about spooky.
Enough babble, I plan to get some track time this weekend. I need to pick up my game if I plan to run more Triple Crown events.
Dragon, no 'birds' for me but I will be at the Carpet Nats. Trying to get things together for the touring car race up at Trackside.
Darnold, good to see you too. How about those first two quals. Remember Hodapp's car going under the driver's stand! We had some bad traffic that first run!
My main was pretty good just had brain fade.
The carpet this year did groove but it didn't seem to get super sticky like the old stuff did. I never once traction rolled the whole week and I didn't see many others do it either. Guess that would explain why my cars were hooked up but not "tippy".
