You were referring to my point, and I agree with You....
You can give a preload in mm, if it is measured from this nut.....
But as Julius said, the engagement point depends on more than only this preload setting, so the gap also plays an important roll here, and that was not mentioned.....
This is why I said that it is "dangerous" to tell that your preload should be ...mm.
