Your are right about the ZX21 having problems with premature conrod failure. They are also having problems with the crank breaking. You would be better off to go with a novarossi base motor, like rex, top, max or even a RB. The new novarossi 35 plus motor is a great motor with ceramic main bearing and they went back to the cnc piston and sleeve. Good luck !!!
for the price of a 35 plus engine You can buy 2-3 Mega engines, and I bet that those 2-3 will last longer than 1 35 plus.....
