I went from some matched 3300's to some unmatched 3800's and my jaw dropped.
The IB 3800's have amazing voltage. Previously my car was sorted.. very stable very smooth. When i first put in a 3800 i stacked twice on the same lap. Had to re-adjust my lines, braking points everything.
The 3300's had me slightly nervous opening up the throttle onto the straight. (I could be pretty brutal and the rear would just wiggle a little)
The 3800's had enough power that i could dial in a little steering, give the car 3/4 throttle and it would continue to rotate on throttle. Enough to spin all 4 tires for a couple of meters down the straight. (Mind you, our track runs a DOWNHILL straight!
and this was on race rubber..)
There are plenty of matchers selling surplus unmatched 3800's.. they are well worth the upgrade. or, borrow a friend's pack. It's pretty big difference.
Kinda like going from some ordinary 3000's(if you still remember) to a high end pack of 3300's..
Hope that helps..
