Martin, I knew that was coming...

Imagine 3-points of your chassis as an "X"

point 1: Look at the chassis from the top. Draw an imaginary "X" across the right rear wheel (RRW) to the front left wheel (LFW) and vise versus.

This is used for chassis balance or tweak. to balance the car, you make the same adjustment to the RRW & LFW.

Point 2 & 3: the same for both the front and rear of the car. Looking at suspension arms

Draw an imaginary "X" across the upper and lower arms.

Lets say you do one adjustment: raise the inner hinge pins and lower the inner upper suspension mount = the shape of the imaginary lines will resemble more of an "X".

Basically position your edge of your hands on top of each other in front of you, like an "X"....Now change the angle of the "X"...basically this has the same effect of relocating the upper / lower suspension arms.

As you said. High Roll Center (reduces chassis roll) "In other words you want the inboard end points of the lower A arm and the upper link closer together than the outboard end points of the A arm and the upper link."

The higher the roll center, the more the imaginary lines looks like an "X"
