first question, your OS is standard shaft or SG shaft...? SG is a long one, and standard is rather short and ended with threads at the end of the shaft.
If your engine is standard, unless XR8 has a adaption kit (like NTC3) that can work with the standard shaft and the centax....then I think what you need is a SG crank engine...
