Geppetto: Thats a good point about crossing the finish line. It seems like more this year than ever, I have gotten just accross the line to get that extra lap in qualifying. I didn't get that extra lap very often with my Yokomo because I had the trasponder mounted about mid-ship or near the back.

With my Corally C4.1 and Schumacher '99pro, they both have purpose built mounts right at the front of the car. So the transponder is one of the first things to get to the timing loop. It really does help.

I hope Schumacher finds a way to fit it in at the front. If not I guess its back to mid-ship or near the rear. Or worse, the dreaded hole in the front of the body.
