Hi people,

I have posted a thread already regarding a damaged Thunder Tiger SSK engine which has damaged heatsink fins.

I am in a position to purchase a replacement & have seen a few contenders
on Ebay.

Is there any reason why i cannot use engines which have been removed
from either helicopters or airoplanes?

They do not look that different to me so the reasons they may not be suitable
are not obvious.

Many thanks in advance for your advice & suggestions for a replacement
which i novice would be capable of fitting.
