Jag, I use the shield, but the plugs are on the other end. I use a piece of bicycle innertube to cover the plugs. I just pull the innertube out of the way and plug the battery in. When my girlfriend gets home from Las Vegas, I'll take a photo and sent it to you. If she is willing to give my camera back. lol...
