If I were you I would listen to these guys but never listen too anyone who says 'dont listen to what they are saying'!!. I have a savage 4.6 SS and my mate has a REX-X buggy both having 2 speed tranny's. Neither of them would change into 2nd. It turned out both of them just needed engine tuning. I highly recommend you have your engine running properly b4 u mess with the trans. Good luck
