Thanks Motorman. The reason I said what I said is I have owned and races almost every brand of touring car except Kyosho and Yokomo. I settled on Mugen because it best suited my driving ability at the time and parts support was the best out of all the nitro cars in my area behind HPI. I have had Serpent, Associated, Trinity, Team Magic, Tamiya, and HPI (some I still do have) and Mugen was the best choice for me.
All the competition-level touring cars have the good and bad points. However, if the hobby store support and local racer support for particulars brands is not strong in your area, then the best bet is to shy away from that car. It will be more trouble than it is worth in the long run (Trinity Reflex and Yokomo come to mind here).
