Had both...without a doubt the most fun I have ever had with any electric car over the 5 years of RC'n has been with the Mini-t on a purpose built 1/18th off road dirt track. Get the Li-poly packs and run for 40 minutes or so with a venom fireball motor. I have had more fun and longest run times with this set up. I run the spektrum, m11, quantum comp 2, li-poly 1900 pack, venom fireball micro motor and haven't had any issues.
The RC18T is great too, but I had tons of mechanical issues with mine, I like to run these cars alot and work on them little. My 8th scale and truggy are for tuning on. The RC18T seemed to take a ton more tuning to get it to handle as good as the Mini t pro...
by the way, I am an Associated fan ever since I had my old gold pan RC10 in the 80's...
