I think this is more wide-spread problem than Spektrum wants to advertise (understandable). Their website makes it sound like we're one of just a few, but everyone I race with who has used the system has experienced an unknown shutdown at one time or another.

I've had problems indoor and outdoor, but my problem always occurs when I flip over. It doesn't have to be a violent flip either. Slow rolls are just as susceptable as major crashes.
